23.05 Car bomb reportedly strikes Turkish convoy near Aleppo, killing three
A Turkish military convoy has reportedly been struck by a car bomb as it passed through the town of Atarib, near Aleppo, killing three Turkish soldiers.
Jenan Moussa, a reporter for the Arabic Al Aan TV, tweeted on Tuesday that a large Turkish army convoy had been struck by an explosion, later adding that eyewitnesses had reported casualties.
13.10 Turkish military convoy halted in Idlib – analyst and media reports
A Turkish military convoy has been halted in the northern Syrian province of Idlib, an analyst and media reports said, but it was not clear whether the Turkish forces had come under fire.
Political analyst Aaron Stein wrote in a Twitter thread that the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) convoy was heading for a location that would be “a tripwire to prevent the expected regime offensive to pincer parts of Idlib” in the pre-agreed de-escalation zone, which Turkey is a stakeholder in protecting.

A rocket was fired into the Turkish border town of Kilis at around 10.20 on Tuesday, but none were injured or hurt.

1,600 delegates will attend talks on the future of Syria at Sochi today, but neither the country's main opposition group nor representatives of the Kurdish group that de facto controls almost a third of the country's territory will be present.
The main aim of the talks is to set up a committee to write Syria's post-conflict constitution.
