09.54 1,485 militants now killed in Afrin - Turkish Armed Forces
On the 26th day of the operation, the Turkish Armed Forces announced that the number of Kurdish and Islamic State militants killed in Afrin so far has reached 1,485.

With the region of Afrin being under serious bombardment and routes to safety cut off by militant groups, many locals are bringing their families to the city of Afrin to seek shelter.
"We just want the bombing and air strikes to stop so we can go home," AFP quoted Abdin Kashad, 30, who fled a border village with his five-member family and is now living with relatives in the city of Afrin.

One major issue overshadowing Wednesday's meeting of NATO defence ministers will be the row between Turkey and the United States over the former's intervention in Syria against the U.S.-allied Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG).
A diplomatic source said that while the row was "a topic of concern for NATO", "the issue will be solved bilaterally between the U.S. and Turkey".
