“Little sweet price rises” – CNN Türk presenter
CNN Türk’s prime-time news presenter described government-sanctioned price rises in 2018 as “little” and “sweet”, in an attempt to underplay their effect, left wing newspaper Evrensel said.
CNN Türk prime-time presenter Duygu Demirdağ used the phrase “little sweet price rises” to announce the rises for 2018, causing a reaction on social media, it reported.
