'Jihadists' use Turkish passports to enter Europe - terrorism expert
Jihadist terrorists are entering into EU by using Turkish passports, according to Jean-Charles Brisard, terrorism expert and the President of the Centre for the Analysis of Terrorism who participated special European Parliament "terrorism" committee meeting on Apr. 9, reported the Daily Express.
“There are individuals or terrorist groups that in Turkey can access real false Turkish passports and use these passports to enter Europe on the pretence of tourism – through Bulgaria, often Hungary,” said Brisard during the meeting.
Brisard added that jihadist terrorists continuously changed their methods and routes to get around the system and pretending as Turkish tourists and using the routes through Bulgaria and Hungary are new ways used by terrorist organisations recently.
