Turkish, Greek ships collide in Aegean – report
A Turkish cargo ship and a Greek naval vessel collided in the Aegean Sea on Friday, Haberturk television reported.
There were no deaths or injuries, the television channel said. It didn't provide further details.
Political and military tensions between Greece and Turkey have risen sharply in recent months after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan called in December for borders between the two countries to be redrawn and Turkey captured two Greek soldiers who allegedly strayed across the border in bad weather.
The two countries have argued about territorial boundaries around small Aegean islets in particular, with coast guard and naval vessels of both countries patrolling around them.
