Foreigners sell most Turkish stocks since 2011
Foreign investors last week sold more Turkish stocks than at any time since 2011, Dünya newspaper reported.
The investors sold a total of $513.6 million in shares, as well as $532.6 million of domestic debt and $32.4 million of private sector bonds in the week to Nov. 10, the Istanbul-based financial newspaper said. The total sales of stocks and bonds were the highest since December 2014, it said.
Foreign purchases of stocks have fallen to $2.85 billion and of domestic government debt to $6.93 billion in 2017, the newspaper said.
