New Year’s clash between Syrians and Turkish nationalists

A group of Turkish nationalists celebrating the New Year attacked a group of Syrian refugees who were waving the Syrian flag, Communist news website SoL said.

The two groups of revellers clashed in the town of Eskişehir, between Istanbul and Ankara, the website said.

The nationalists succeeded in preventing the Syrians from waving their flag, and the police moved on the group of refugees.
