Twitter suspends several Turkish accounts after trending hashtag on Trump
Twitter has suspended accounts linked to the leftist nationalist Patriotic Party, Turkish daily Aydınlık reported on Thursday.
The social media giant suspended accounts of several members of the Patriotic Party's central committee and leaders of the party's youth organisations, the daily said.
Aydınlık has close links to the Patriotic Party, and Twitter also suspended several accounts belonging to editors of the newspaper, the report said.
Patriotic Party leader Doğu Perinçek launched a hashtag #MahvolursunTrump, translating to “you will be destroyed, Trump” on Oct. 13 after U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to "destroy and obliterate" the Turkish economy if Ankara crossed the line during its military incursion in northeast Syria.
Twitter quickly prevented the hashtag from trending, saying that the phrase should not have appeared in its trending topics.
The Patriotic Party had rattled Twitter by hitting the company with "its own guns", the party's secretary-general said on Twitter, adding that the party was "the nightmare of imperialism".

Şimdi de Twitter hepimizin hesaplarını tek tek askıya alıyor.
Kendi silahlarıyla onları vurmamız zorlarına gitti herhalde.
Eyy Twitter. Biz Ergenekon tertibini bitirmiş hareketiz.
