“You’d better watch out” – Santa’s helpers on the EU terror list

The supporters of a group on the European Union’s terror list have been dressing up as Santa Claus in the German city of Frankfurt, Turkish newspaper Posta said.

The Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) has been involved in a bloody separatist conflict in southeast Turkey intermittently since 1984.

But in Frankfurt the group’s supporters have been dressing as Santa Claus and handing out leaflets and toys in the city centre, the newspaper said.

After distributing their propaganda, they assembled in the city’s main square to shout slogans in favour of jailed PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan before dispersing, it said.
