You are the Erdoğan generation, Bilal Erdoğan tells students
Bilal Erdoğan, the son of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, told religious high school students that they were the “Erdoğan generation”.
Erdoğan spoke at a meeting of students and headmasters of religious Imam Hatip schools who had travelled from 81 different provinces in the country, CNN Türk television reported.
“The world is at an important juncture, our country is at an important juncture. In such a period, you, our brothers, hold the future of the country in your hands and you are the generation that will make its mark on the future of the world,” Erdoğan said.
Erdoğan spoke about Israel, saying Turkey was confronted with a mentality that, no matter the degree of chaos in Arab countries, Israel should remain safe and stable. Global peace is threatened by this approach and a siege of Turkey is part of that plan, he said.
