U.S. running terror training camps for KKK in Kurdish region of Syria - Turkish newspaper
U.S. security forces are running terror training camps for foreign terror groups including the Ku Klux Klan in areas of Syria held by the majority-Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG), Turkish pro-government newspaper Yeni Şafak has claimed.
“The terrorists are being turned into true ‘cutthroats’ through weapons and bomb training and psychological conditioning in camps the U.S. has established,” the newspaper said, comparing the area of Northeast Syria to the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon, which became notorious for terror training in the 1980s.
“Many groups that are actively supported by Western countries have established camps. Among them are even militants belonging to several radical foreign organisations, from the Ku Klux Klan to Pegida, and from the IRA to the Nazis.”
The newspaper said that there were now at least 5,000 foreign terrorists in the valley being trained by the YPG’s International Brigades, including many from far-left organisations in Turkey:
“The Pentagon and CIA, which are running the terror valley, have become the patrons of many illegal structures including the Revolutionary People's Liberation Party/Front (DHKP-C), the Liberation Army of the Workers and Peasants of Turkey (TİKKO), Marxist-Leninist Communist Party (MLKP), Communist Party of Turkey/Marxist–Leninist (TKP/ML), Revolutionary Headquarters, the Turkish People’s Liberation Party-Front (Acilciler) and the Turkish Union of Revolutionary Communists (TİKB),” it said.
