Three injured in missile factory blast in Ankara
Three people were injured in an explosion on Tuesday at the Turkish state-owned defence company Roketsan’s factory in the capital city of Ankara, news site T24 reported.
The explosion occurred in Roketsan’s fuel depots near the town of Elmadağ, on the outskirts of the Turkish capital, the Ankara governor’s office said.
The employees sustained slight injuries in the explosion, whose cause is not immediately known, it said.
"There were no lives lost in the explosion as Roketsan. I wish a quick recovery to our wounded personnel," İsmail Demir, the head of Turkey's Defence Industries, said on Twitter.
