Turkish police seizes 965,000 narcotic pills on Saudi plane

Turkish police found 965,000 narcotic pills in a Saudi cargo plane in search in the southern province of Adana, Cumhuriyet reported on Thursday.

The operation began after the police received information that drugs were to be transported from Turkey via a Saudi cargo aircraft. The report did not say what drug the pills contained.

The police found the drugs hidden in the water filtering equipment of the plane, which was about to depart for Saudi Arabia.
