Kiev-Ankara flight delayed by passenger breaking 6-cat limit
A flight from Kiev to Ankara was delayed for two hours after a passenger insisted on taking seven cats with them, Sputnik Turkey said.
“While the unnamed airline’s rules allowed each passenger at most six animals, it was determined that one passenger had seven cats in their baggage on a Kiev–Ankara flight,” the Russia-based news site reported.
“When the passenger learnt that they had to leave one of the cats behind, they began arguing with airline officials and police.”
However, Sputnik said, the company finally relented and allowed the “extra” cat to fly as well.
