Powerful tornado causes massive damage at Turkey’s Antalya Airport
A powerful tornado that struck Antalya in southern Turkey injured 12 people, flipped busses and caused damage to planes and the city's international airport, Daily Sabah reported on Friday.
Two buses and a minibus had overturned and two sets of air stairs had toppled due to second tornado that hits the city in the last three days
Speaking to Turkish news channel NTV, Antalya Governor Münir Karaloğlu said that two planes and a police helicopter had been significantly injured due to the storm, adding that none of the injured had been in critical condition.
Two people were killed three days ago after a tornado struck the city’s Kumluca and Kemer districts.
