Five Turkish universities ranked among Asia’s top 100
Five Turkish universities are among the top 100 institutions of higher learning in Asia, including three in the top 52, according to a ranking by U.S. News & World Report.
The U.S.-based magazine named Istanbul’s Boğaziçi University as Asia's 29th best university, and placed Ankara’s Middle East Technical University (ODTÜ) in the 50th post.
Istanbul Technical University (ITÜ) ranked 52nd, while Bilkent University and Hacettepe University shared 86th place.
U.S. News & World Report’s global rankings are meant to provide insight into how universities compare globally based on their academic research performance and their global and regional reputations, according to the website.
